Join us throughout Advent and Christmas for our many special services as we prepare to celebrate the Birth of the Christ Child.
Advent Sunday – Sunday 1st December
6pm – Advent Carols Service
The Choir of St Paul’s Cathedral lead hymns and carols, to complement Scripture readings foretelling the birth of Jesus Christ. The Very Reverend Dr Andreas Loewe, Dean of Melbourne, will preach.
Sunday 15th December
4pm – Service of Lessons and Carols
Join us for a traditional Service of Lessons and Carols, led by our Cathedral Choir. The Very Reverend Dr Andreas Loewe, Dean of Melbourne, will preach.
CHRISTMAS EVE
Tuesday 24 December
3pm – Children’s Christmas Service
All are warmly welcome to celebrate the birth of Jesus with stories, music and activities especially for children.
6pm – Service of Lessons and Carols
Join us for a traditional Service of Lessons and Carols (a repeat of the service on 16 December). No passes required.
8pm – A Mandarin Christmas 華語聖誕晚會

10pm – First Eucharist of Christmas
A traditional service with Holy Communion, led by the Cathedral Choir.
The Very Reverend Dr Andreas Loewe, Dean of Melbourne, will preach.
11.45pm – Midnight Mass
The Open Door Gospel Singers, directed by Shaun Islip, will lead the singing at this traditional Midnight Mass to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Wednesday 25 December
8am Holy Communion with Carols
Celebrate Christmas at this Book of Common Prayer Service.
10am Christmas Morning Choral Eucharist
The Archbishop of Melbourne, The Most Reverend Dr Philip Freier, will preach and lead this Christmas morning Eucharist. Be uplifted by wonderful Christmas readings, hymns and carols accompanied by the Cathedral Choir and organ.
