St Paul’s Cathedral is proud to announce the appointment of Contralto Lay Clerk Emma Warburton as Leading Musician 2021-22, whilst Kristy Biber is on leave.
Emma brings a wealth of choral and solo experience to the role, as well as strong administrative skills, which will support the choirs, keyboardists, and other musicians of the Cathedral and Diocese. She brings additional skills as a qualified geneticist, and her work in studying insecticide resistance in Drosophila fruit flies may be of help to us as we try to discover why the Horse Flies that invade the Cathedral Buildings in Summer are resistant to any and all fly sprays.
