Glenn Loughrey, You Yangs To the Bay – Always Was Always Will be Wathurong
During the lockdowns, St Paul’s Cathedral has been collaborating with First Nations Artist and Anglican Priest, the Revd Glenn Loughrey, in designing a permanent reminder of the Country on which we work and worship, the traditional lands of the Kulin nation.
Glenn has created two stunning artworks. You Yangs To the Bay – Always Was Always Will be Wathurong (above) depicting Port Philip Bay and the You Yangs. Naarm – Always Was Always Will Be Kulin (below) depicting the Yarra river and Yarra ranges. A magnificent set of large scale maps of the region on which our Diocese ministers as seen through the eyes of a First Nation painter.
These works are going to be exhibited to the public from Saturday, 19 June at the Hearth Galleries in Healesville.

We would like to secure these paintings for the Cathedral, place a red dot on them as they go on show, and mark them as sold.
For that we need your help!
A member of Chapter has just contributed $6,000. A congregant and I have just contributed $1,000 each to the campaign. I would be thrilled if you were thinking of making a donation as well.
