The Reverend Dr Evonne Paddison served as a Chapter Canon of St Paul’s Cathedral. She occupied the Chapter stall of St Augustine from 2010-2015, during which time she also served as a member of the Cathedral’s Community and Mission Committee.

The funeral service for Evonne will be streamed, and held at 2pm next Thursday (24th July) at Christ Church, Lavender Bay.

Dean Andreas Loewe said: ‘We give thanks for the lives of Peter Barrett and Evonne Paddison, and thank God for their contribution to the work and ministry of St Paul’s Cathedral. At this time, we hold in prayer their families and friends: I pray that as we  mourn Peter’s and Evonne’s deaths, we may be comforted by the strong and certain hope that Christ has conquered death and opened the gate to life eternal for all who put their trust in him’.
