16 year-old Haoqing Leo Liu studies piano with Glenn Riddle at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. In 2022, Leo won first prize in the Steinway Youth Piano Competition, achieved his LMusA Diploma with Distinction, and was a Melbourne Conservatorium Young Artists Academy scholarship recipient. He will perform Prokofiev Piano Sonata No. 2 (1st Mvt.), Carl Vine Piano Sonata No. 1 (1st Mvt.), and Chopin Scherzo in B minor, Étude in G-flat major, and Étude in C minor.
