Barry Fry is the baritone soloist each Good Friday in St Paul’s Cathedral’s presentation of Stainer’s The Crucifixion. Although he specializes in oratorio and Gilbert and Sullivan, he and his accompanist, Bruce Macrae, will present a program that covers various genres of music. Their program includes ‘Lord God of Abraham’ from Mendelssohn’s Elijah, ‘Sentry Song’ from Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe, Fauré’s ‘Après un rêve’, and Schubert’s ‘An die Musik’.
