Memorial Service for Michael Leunig

The Family of Michael Leunig and St Paul’s Cathedral will hold a Memorial Service to Honour and Celebrate the life of Michael Leunig.

Leunig, beloved Australian cartoonist, artist, poet and philosopher, whose whimsical yet profound illustrations touched the hearts of many. His work spanning over five decades – marked by its gentle wit, sharp social commentary, and unique sense of humanity – has become an iconic part of Australian Culture.

This Memorial Service will provide an opportunity for family, friends, and the Victorian Community to come together to remember Michael’s remarkable life and the lasting impact made on us all.

Time: 2.00pm, entry from 1.00pm
Location: St Paul’s Cathedral, corner of Flinders and Swanston Streets, Melbourne, 3000.
