In line with the announcement this afternoon that Victoria will be entering into a seven-day lockdown from 8pm tonight (5 Aug), St Paul’s Cathedral will again close to the public. Our Sunday Services, including our observance of Hiroshima Peace Day, will be delivered online and the beginning of the new discipleship teaching series will continue as planned with groups meeting on Zoom.
We must continue to work together and comply with the directions given to us by our Government and Health Officials. Please keep monitoring the exposure sites and present for a COVID test when necessary: https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/exposure-sites
Please continue praying for the leaders of our Nation & State, Health Officials, Contract Tracers, and all those engaged in frontline work during the lockdown, and for those who have been infected with COVID-19 in our community. Pray also for the people of Greater Sydney and NSW and the many other places throughout the world facing crisis levels of infection.

Prayer Resources for use during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Keep us, good Lord, under the shadow of your mercy in this time of uncertainty and distress. Sustain and support the anxious and fearful, and lift up all who are brought low; that we may rejoice in your comfort knowing that nothing can separate us from your love in Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.
