All Souls Day • 2nd November

“Give rest, O Christ, to your servants with your saints, where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.”

Monday 2nd November is All Souls Day, when we give thanks for the faithful departed.

A special All Souls Day Evensong will be broadcast on Channel 31 (Melbourne & Geelong Community Television) today at 2.30pm, and tomorrow evening at 5.10pm here on the Cathedral’s Facebook page and Youtube channel.

For detail on how to access and tune in to Channel 31, please click here.

The music will feature:
Nunc Dimitts: Evening Service in C – Stanford
Anthem: These are they which follow the Lamb – John Goss (1800-80)
Hymn: I vow to thee, my Country

In a year when the grief of bereavement has been amplified by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope you can join in either of the services as we remember those dear to us who have died.
