Thursdays at Two was formed under the name Cathedral Seniors in February 2014 to create an opportunity for members of the congregation to meet for fellowship away from the hustle and bustle of Sunday services. It also provides better pastoral connections with the ministry team.
Held monthly February to November (inclusive) on the fourth Thursday of the month at 2pm in the Barbara Darling Room, meetings usually include some news-sharing and a guest speaker connected with the Cathedral community, who has a story linking faith to work or other activities. We have a brief reading and prayer together and then afternoon tea – all over in time to travel home before peak hour.
People of all ages are welcome at Thursdays at Two, whether they are members of Cathedral congregations or not. Contact Canon Philippa Lohmeyer-Collins for further information.
