The next meeting of Thursdays at 2 will be held at 2.00pm this Thursday, 25 September in the Barbara Darling Room. Our speaker will be the cathedral’s own John Morshead who will speak on the topic, “Why I went to Tanzania as a Missionary”.  John, a radiographer and Jill, a nurse, served in Tanzania for 15 years with the Church Missionary Society in hospitals and taught health subjects and theological subjects at St Mark’s Anglican Theological College in Dar es Salaam. They returned to Australia 2017.

John will share what has been the journey for Jill and him both spiritually and career wise since returning to Australia. John and Jill both contribute enormously to the Welcome ministry at the Cathedral, so it is a real delight to hear John speak. As always, everyone is welcome to attend irrespective of age.
