Service | Choral Evensong to mark the Platinum Anniversary of Her Majesty The Queen

St Paul’s Cathedral will hold a special service to mark the Platinum Anniversary of the Accession to the Throne of Her Majesty The Queen on February 6th 2022 at 4pm.
The festival service of Choral Evensong will be held in the presence of dignitaries and diplomatic representatives of Commonwealth and other nations and members of the many organisations for whom The Queen is Patron.
Attendance at the service will be open to all. The congregation is asked to be seated by 3.45pm.
In 2022, The Queen will become the first Monarch of the United Kingdom to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee marking seventy years of service, having acceded to the throne on 6th February 1952 when she was 25 years old.
The Queen first visited St Paul’s Cathedral in 1954, following her coronation, and has been a regular visitor and worshipper to the Cathedral her subsequent visits to Melbourne.
