Callum Tolhurst-Close studied a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Pipe Organ performance and several diplomas in classical piano. He is in demand as a conductor, repetiteur, accompanist, and soloist, and has performed across Australia and internationally. His concert will feature Thalben-Ball Elegy for Organ, J.S. Bach O Mensch, bewein dein Sünde groß, Langlais Kyrie ‘Orbis Factor’ from Livre Oecumenique, and Saint-Saëns Fantaisie No. 3 in C major.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These half-hour concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
