Concert | Westgarth Ensemble – 10 years at St Paul’s
Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm
The Westgarth Ensemble first performed at St Paul’s Cathedral in 2015, with a program called ‘Who Wears the Pants?’ Our tenth-anniversary concert features some of our favourites, including Gluck’s ‘Tendre amour’ (Orphée et Eurydice), works by Baroque composer Barbara Strozzi, and music by Handel, Vivaldi, and Amy Beach. Celebrate with us and the music we love from the 17th to the 19th centuries. With pianist and cellist Campbell Banks.
We hope you can join us! Entry by donation.
About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
