Concert | Melbourne Conservatorium Chamber Choir

The singers of the Melbourne Conservatorium Chamber Choir join with organist David Macfarlane and string players from The University of Melbourne to present Antonín Dvořák’s Mass in D major, Op. 86.
This performance will be of the composer’s own version for choir, soloists, organ and lower strings, as issued by leading music publishing firm Bärenreiter (Prague) in 2020, and is directed by Nicholas Dinopoulos.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These half-hour recitals at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.

During the Gaia Exhibition (April – June 2022), these concerts take place under the stunning replica of the Earth.
