Pianist Josh Hooke presents a recital displaying the brilliant virtuosity and introspective intimacy of three of the greatest keyboard composers. He will perform Chopin’s Polonaise-Fantasie Op. 61, Scarlatti’s Sonatas in C major K. 132 and K. 159, and Rachmaninoff’s Preludes Op. 3 No. 2, Op. 23 No. 10, and Op. 23 No. 2.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
