Ethan Zhang is a Year 5 student at Wesley College. In 2025, he won second prize in both the Oz Schools Instrumental Championships National Final and the Singapore International Music Competition. This performance marks his recital debut, and he will perform J.S. Bach’s Prelude and Fugue in D minor, Chopin’s Polonaise in A-flat major, Waltz in D-flat major, and Nocturne in E-flat major, and Berkovich’s Variations on a Theme by Paganini and Toccata.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These weekly concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
