Emily Szabo is an emerging artist with Melbourne Opera. She has performed numerous operatic roles, such as Countess Almaviva in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and the title role in Bellini’s Norma. Emily has won various singing competitions, and was awarded the Richard Divall prize at prestigious Herald Sun Aria competition in 2022. Accompanied by Jane Matheson, Emily will perform a selection of beautiful arias by Puccini, Mozart, and Bizet.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
