13-year-old Diego Yu is a Year 9 student at Wesley College and a piano student of Glenn Riddle. In 2023, Diego received 2nd Prize in the PolMusicA National Piano Competition. He will perform J.S. Bach Prelude and Fugue in C minor, Haydn Sonata in E-flat major (1st mvt), Carl Vine Piano Sonata No. 1 (1st mvt.), Chopin Études in C-sharp minor and A minor, and Liszt Transcendental Étude in A minor.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
