Join us for a Lunchtime Concert on November 18 at 1pm featuring Brian Luo, piano.

Adelaide-born Brian Luo is one of Australia’s most talented younger-generation musicians, recently winning the MRC Elisabeth Murdoch Prize, the MSV Hepzhibah Menuhin Award, 3MBS ‘The Talent’, and the Melbourne Conservatorium Concerto Prize. Brian will perform works by Haydn, Ravel, and Liszt, including Liszt’s virtuosic transcription of themes from Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni, as well as his glorious transcription of one of Schubert’s religious songs, Litanei.

COVID-19 Conditions of Entry
• Visitors over 16 years old must be fully vaccinated and be able to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination. From November 24th, visitors over 12 years old must be fully vaccinated.
• Visitors over 12 years old must wear a face mask indoors.
• You must register your details upon entry by scanning the Service Victoria QR Code, please download the Service Victoria app prior to your visit for a smooth check-in process. Paper check-in is available if you don’t have a smart phone.
• Maintain social distance and be respectful of other people’s space. Make use of hand sanitizer during services as directed.
• Understand that areas may be partially closed off to implement safety protocols
• Please be considerate and treat our staff with respect
About our Lunchtime Concert Series
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These half hour recitals at 1pm will run on Thursdays for the remainder of 2021 (unless otherwise indicated) provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week. Admission is by donation.
