18-year-old Ben Fu studies piano with Professor Glenn Riddle at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Ben is a keen chamber musician and recitalist, and he frequently records for 3MBS radio.

He will perform Debussy’s ‘Feux d’artifice’ (‘Fireworks’) from Préludes Book II, Haydn’s Sonata in B-flat major, Agosti’s transcription of Stravinsky’s The Firebird and Schumann’s Davidsbündlertänze – No. 5.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These half-hour concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
