Cathedral Seniors was formed in February 2014 to create an opportunity for members of the congregation to meet for fellowship away from the hustle and bustle of Sunday services. It also provides better pastoral connections with the ministry team.
Held monthly February to November (inclusive) on the fourth Friday of the month at 2pm in the Barbara Darling Room, meetings usually include some news-sharing and a guest speaker connected with the Cathedral community, who has a story linking faith to work or other activities. We have a brief reading and prayer together and then afternoon tea – all over in time to travel home before peak hour.
While the group is called ‘Seniors’, people of all ages are welcome, whether they are members of Cathedral congregations or not. Contact Canon Emeritus Christopher Carolane for further information.
