14-year-old violinist Angela Deng is a music scholar at Strathcona Girls Grammar. She has won many awards and prizes locally and internationally, and performed live on 3MBS radio. She will present a captivating program with renowned pianist Stewart Kelly, showcasing a range of masterworks from the dramatic and profound Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 7 in C minor to passionate and virtuosic showpieces by Szymanowski and Wieniawski.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These weekly concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
