St Paul’s is looking to appoint an experienced Events/Communications Officer and Assistant to the Precentor (The Revd Canon Heather Patacca). Join a diverse team of colleagues as a full-time member of the Cathedral team and help St Paul’s fulfil its mission to be a spiritual home for the people of Melbourne.
Located at St Paul’s Cathedral, the Events/Communications Officer and Assistant to the Precentor is the first port of call for Cathedral events and all external event enquiries, helping to coordinate events ranging from Ordinations and State Funerals, Weddings and Baptisms, to classical concerts and large scale visitation events such as White Night.
St Paul’s is Victoria’s most visited sacred place, and place of worship for more than 80,000 people a year, with regular worshippers from more than 25 nations. The Precentor, Canon Heather Patacca, leads the worship department of the Cathedral, and the Events/Communications Officer and Assistant to the Precentor will work closely with Heather in delivering more than 1,500 events and acts of worship a year.
